Membership Fees

Corporate Membership Fees 


IIOM Membership runs from 1st April to 31st March each year. If you are joining part way through the year you will be charged on a pro rata basis. 
Corporate Membership fees for the 2023-2024 year are £1520 plus VAT.

Individual Membership fees

IIOM Membership year runs from 1st April to 31st March. If you are joining part way through the year you will be charged on a pro rata basis. These fees are for membership only and do not include attendance at member meetings. Individual members can attend a members meeting at a cost of £50 inc VAT per meeting or a separate meetings package is available to add to membership.

No qualification required. Student membership is for individuals working towards a career in Obsolescence management whether at university or on an apprenticeship scheme.

Associates will have achieved a standard of knowledge, understanding and experience, and passed the short course in Obsolescence Management at the IIOM Associate grade.

Member
Members will have achieved a standard of knowledge, understanding and experience. The candidate will be assessed by a panel on their suitability to be awarded this grade of membership in line with the UK Standard for Professional Engineering competence. Members shall be entitled to use the designatory letters MIIOM (Member of the International Institute of Obsolescence Management

Fellow
Fellows will have met the requirements for admission as a Member and in addition they will have demonstrated significant individual responsibility, sustained achievement and professionalism in areas relevant to the interests of IIOM. The approval criteria and process for Members is still under development but are likely to be aligned with the UK Standard for Professional Engineering competence
Fellows are entitled to use the designatory letters FIIOM (Fellow of the International Institute of Obsolescence Management).

Honorary Member
Elected by the IIOM Board Honorary Members are: 
Persons distinguished by their work in any discipline falling within the objects and purposes of IIOM, or 
Distinguished persons who contributed to IIOM in honour for services rendered or whose association is of benefit.
