IIOM UK AGM and Member Meeting, Langstone, Wales
3-4 November 2021
Due to the increase in numbers of people catching Covid who have been double vaccinated we will need all attendees to complete a lateral flow test in the 24 hours before arriving at the event. We will also need you to check in using the NHS Covid 19App. Lateral flow tests are free, these can be ordered in advance online by clicking here or picked up free of charge from your local pharmacy.
The next IIOM UK Members meeting is kindly sponsored by Winslow Adaptics. The meeting will take place on Thursday 4th November at the Coldra Court Hotel by Celtic Manor, Chepstow Rd, Langstone, Newport NP18 2LX. The Wednesday 3rd November at 20.00 hrs. This event will be a seated 3 course set menu with waitress service Delegates are required to register for the meeting on the IIOM site and book their accommodation directly with the hotel. .
It is a priority to keep everyone safe and adhere to Covid-19 guidance and legislation during the Member Meeting. We understand that after the last 18 months you may feel nervous about attending face to face, but please be assured that the hotel has carried out the necessary risk assessments and has Covid procedures in place. We will of course keep you informed on any changes to government guidance that might affect the day. The current guidelines in Wales require the wearing of face masks indoors except whilst seated.
Before you attend we ask that if you are not double jabbed at least 3 weeks in advance of the meeting that you take a lateral flow test. This should be done the day before you travel to the event and the result logged on the government site. Please be ready to share the negative result with the IIOM Administration team at the event, this could be sharing the text or email confirming your negative result.
Ordering your free lateral flow test - You can order packs of lateral flow tests for free from https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests. It is important to us to do all we can to help to keep you safe, as well as support the wider Public Health efforts to tackle Covid-19.
IIOM UK AGM (UK Members only)
The IIOM UK AGM will take place at 9.15 am. The calling notice and supporting documents will be issued prior to the event.
IIOM Member Meeting
The IIOM UK Member meeting will begin at 9.30 am and finish at 3.30 pm. Guest and New Attendees will be invited to join a short introduction to IIOM at 8.50 am, prior to the Member Meeting.

Registration for IIOM Members - Please register yourself, following steps 1 -8 below. You will not receive a confirmation but can view your registration on the event page.

- Click on Register Myself (towards the bottom of the screen)
- Scroll down to the programme and select the programme items you will be attending
- Please answer any questions and save

Networking Dinner
The cost of attending the 3 course networking dinner is included in the accommodation rate, if you have booked at the Coldra Court Hotel at our rate then you will automatically be registered for dinner. This is a set menu, when registering on the IIOM site please select which menu you would like. Click here to download the menu.
Non-residents can book and pay to attend the dinner at a cost of £36. To book email [email protected] requesting to book for dinner only. IIOM will raise and invoice and take payment for the dinner only .booking. Full payment is required by 25th October at the latest and is non refundable after booking. You also need to register for the event and select your menu on the IIOM site.
Car Parking
Parking at the hotel is chargeable. Winslow Adaptics are kindly covering parking charges for delegates parking up to 27 hours. Those extending their stay will need to cover the additional charges for parking. You will need to advise reception tht you are part of the IIOM Meeting Group to ensure your parking is not charged for.
