Obsolescence Management – How to Exceed your Customers' Expectations

Innovation is one of the key levers for a more sustainable future, as we move away from carbon-based energy and materials, but innovation brings its own jeopardy as end users find that recently purchased assets are hit by the obsolescence of last year’s new components.
It has never been clearer that good obsolescence management practice is going to be essential for sustainability, and that obsolescence must be managed at all phases of product life cycle, and throughout the supply chain.
IIOM’s 2022 Conference will address obsolescence management from the customer’s point of view, whether end user, service provider or manufacturer, and how obsolescence management can differentiate a supplier from its competitors in competitive markets.
Papers are invited that relate to the conference theme of 'Obsolescence Management – How to Exceed Your Customers’ Expectations'.
Abstracts of sixty to eight words should be submitted before 8 October 2021 to [email protected]. See Call for Papers document for full details.
Selected presenters will be contacted by the 17 November 2021 and the Microsoft PowerPoint will be required by 5 April 2022. Individuals selected to present at the conference will also be eligible for a significant discount on the conference registration fees.

The exhibition will be held at the Holiday Inn Munich City Centre, Germany, near to the conference suite. Conference refreshments including lunches will be taken in this area, maximising the opportunity for exhibitors and delegates to interact.
This will be a table top exhibition, giving exhibitors the flexibility to provide their own displays within an area of 3 m x 2 m.
The exhibitor package includes:

A5 landscape advert in conference proceedings
*Your 2 members of exhibition staff will have entrance to the two networking evenings, one of whom will also have access to the conference session.
